Description

On this fun one-day workshop you will make a charismatic ceramic cat using lace, fabric and rubber stamping to add decorative texture. You will learn how to quickly create a basic armature using simple household items. You’ll be shown how to build your cat by cutting shapes from clay, imprinted with your chosen textures, rolled out using a slab roller. Expression can be added throughout the process after which your sheep will be dried, fired and coloured off site. You’ll both be re-united within 2-3 weeks (to be collected from Micklems Farm). Please bring: A packed lunch Apron Any cat images that you would like to work from.

If you share any photographs of your day here and/or your finished work, we’d love to see them! Terms - Fee is payable on booking. If, having booked, you can no longer attend, we are unable to offer a refund or transfer you to another workshop. However, you may nominate someone else to attend the workshop or class in your place by notifying us. We reserve the right to cancel a workshop up to 48 hours prior to the workshop date.
