Description

An adult (18+) workshop aimed at beginners or first time felters with tutor Natalie Harris (Brooks). Natalie is a fine artist using needle felting and the creator of Roly Poly Ponies. This workshop is aimed at beginners and people new to needle felting. We will be making a cute bunny, just in time for Easter. Your admission to Wightwick Manor is included in the price of the workshop. In the morning (10.30-12:00) the basics of what type of wool and needles are best for sculpting will be explained and then you will use some basic techniques to make the base sculpt of your bunny. We will break for lunch and an opportunity to get some fresh air in the grounds at 12.00. We will then return at 13:00 to finish our bunnies and add the finer details. Booking is essential, £25 per person. Lunch is not included, but there is an on site cafe or you may bring your own. Note that Wightwick Manor is a historical venue, some floors may be unlevel and you will have to negotiate some stairs. For the full workshop terms and conditions, please get in touch via the 'message the tutor' button.
