Content score (practical/info-theory): 5/2 Building on the theory from part 1 of this course, you will learn a lot more practical skills: Learn about: • Wiring for lighting and power • Testing circuits and continuity • Measuring Voltage and Current • Soldering • Stripping cables • Locating cables with a tone generator • Test equipment • Fault finding techniques • Dealing with armoured cable • Termination methods and connectors Minimum of 2 bookings for this course to run.
What's included in the price?
Those attending class will be asked to bring their own masks and gloves, please. Tea and coffee are available throughout the day. There is no lunch provided so bring your own or there is a local shop 1 min drive away. The local train station is approx 10 mins walk and parking is available at the workshop.
