Unwind and explore your creativity in this immersive full day workshop, creating beautiful watercolour autumn wreaths. We will begin with a mindful walk through Micklems Farm’s garden to gather a range of seasonal flowers to reference during the workshop. Returning to the spacious barn studio, you will use these cuttings to inspire your autumnal wreath paintings. After a short break with drinks and refreshments, local illustrator Helen Ridley will guide you through a watercolour painting workshop. Finding inspiration from your selections, you will explore mixing seasonal colour palettes and sketching colour and form. Helen will demonstrate a range of watercolour techniques to create a range of leaves, berries and simple flowers which you will then have the opportunity to practice and refine. You will leave with 2 watercolour autumn wreath compositions, combining all the skills you have learnt during the workshop. If, having booked, you can no longer attend, we are unable to offer a refund. However, you may nominate someone else to attend the workshop or class in your place by notifying us using the contact page on the Micklems Farm website. We reserve the right to cancel a workshop up to 48 hours prior to the workshop date. We will only cancel due to insufficient places sold and you will be refunded the full amount paid.
