'Give yourself a place to be yourself' WHY NOT COME ALONG TO A FREE one-off sculpture and drawing lesson at Parndon Studios in Harlow, Essex. This free 2 ½ hour lesson will provide a small taster of the kind of materials and ideas that could be explored if you decide to attend one of the 10 week courses. These Sculpture and Drawing classes are mixed ability, regular term time courses that explore a variety of approaches and materials. They are run by Ivan Daggett in his studio at Parndon Mill in Harlow, Essex. Beginners are introduced to a variety of materials and observational skills to gain confidence, whilst those with more experience are encouraged to follow individual project work supported with ongoing guidance. The materials offered for sculpture are clay, plaster, plaster bandage, wire, wire mesh, stone and some mould making materials; for drawing, cartridge paper, pencils, charcoal pastels and paint. The studio accommodates classes of 5 - 6 people. You start from wherever you are and entirely at your own pace! Class size is up to a six maximum to allow each individual the support, time and space to explore materials, techniques and ideas in a supportive and open approach to imagination. Classes are offered on a termly 10 week basis and are taught by Ivan Daggett who is an established tutor in Fine Art. What's included in the price?

Materials are included (depending on size of work). Cost of firing ceramic work for sculpture is not included. Small charge for tea and coffee per term (£3.00 per term - fresh coffee and quality tea!)
