Have you ever wondered how to paint realistic animals and birds. In this new workshop you will find out the process of painting fur, feathers or scales! This class is suitable for beginners and intermediate painters using either acrylics or oil paint. Plenty of reference supplied but if you have a particular image you would like to use please remember to bring a large colour print of a good resolution and clarity with you to the workshop. What to bring: A packed lunch 4b pencil, rubber and putty rubber Palette knife size 22 or similar Canvas paper or canvas board 12” x 16” or 10” x 10” or similar Selection of flat, synthetic brushes in a range from 4 - 12 One small round brush size 2, for detailed work Rags or baby wipes (biodegradable) Oil painters will need Liquin original painting medium and sansoder or zest it low odour thinners Paper tear off palette pad for oil or acrylic and fine mist spray for acrylics Paint (either oil or acrylic) Cadmium Red Cadmium yellow Yellow ochre Ultramarine Blue Titanium white Cerulean blue Permanent Rose Raw Umber Burnt Sienna Recommended suppliers: Jacksons Art supplies CassArt

If, having booked, you can no longer attend, we are unable to offer a refund. However, you may nominate someone else to attend the workshop or class in your place by notifying us. We reserve the right to cancel a workshop up to 48 hours prior to the workshop date. We will only cancel due to insufficient places sold and you will be refunded the full amount paid.
