Description
The crafty potter is a family run pottery studio in the beautiful village of Heskin. The Class runs Tuesday to Sunday every week and can be attended by up to 4 persons. It's a great introduction to the fabulous world of clay hand building & can be attended by adults aged 16 and over. We first use a slab of clay to build your mug or Tankard. You will be shown how to prepare, join & assemble the clay before adding texture & details, giving you step by step instructions during the build. Your creations can be finished in lots of different ways. The class includes bisque firing ready for collection, 3 weeks later. OR you may wish to return to the studio to glaze your creation yourself, using our coloured underglazes. This is an optional extra, £15pp.
