Whether you have always wanted a go at pottery or just something fun to do, come and join us for this fabulous half-day pottery experience at The Crafty Potter - Chorley Studio. The session runs Monday to Saturday every week. The classes are for adults aged 16 and over & are suitable for beginners. Up to 3 people can attend the session. The session starts by having some fun throwing pots on the potter's wheel. Your first pot is made with help, tips and advice along the way, you then have time to have a go by yourself. We then move over to the work bench to add surface decoration to your creations. You will be shown how to prepare, mould & add clay to your work, having access to our cutters, moulds and potter tools. Bisque firing is included in the session, ready for collection 3 weeks later. They can then be painted with acrylics at home. Should you wish you can return to the studio for glazing, this is an optional extra at a cost of £15pp. The Crafty Potter Chorley studio is located within Lancashire's Market Town of Chorley, Based on the edge of the Town Centre, next to Bus & Rail transport links. Car parking is just across the road. The class makes a fabulous gift for all occasions.
