Woodturning Experience Half Day - Come and spend half a day turning your first bowl. This wood-turning half-day can be booked at your convenience. The Studio operates five days a week and we will work to suit your availability. Optional times of morning or afternoon. WHAT CAN YOU ACHIEVE? We are all different and work at different speeds, but typically in half a day you can expect to finish a small bowl. PARTICIPANT GUIDELINES Children over the age of 14 are welcome but anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. NUMBERS ON THE DAY There is a maximum of three participants on the day. If you wish to bring a friend to watch you are most welcome, but please let me know in advance. WHAT TO WEAR Please wear clothes and footwear that you won't mind getting covered in shavings and you can be comfortable standing in all day. No open-toed sandals or flip flops, please.
What's included in the price?
You will be supplied with appropriate safety gear on the day. The timber for your first bowl is included - all locally sourced from responsible accredited suppliers. REFRESHMENTS There is tea and coffee available all day included in the price. PARKING We have off-road parking for you in the yard. Just drive in and find a suitable spot.
