Just in time for Christmas...join us for a relaxing 2-week watercolour painting mini-course. Two x weeks 1.15pm to 3.15pm Thursday 21st November Thursday 28th November 2024 Each week we will be covering a different Winter themes. Learn how to paint snowy skies and misty backgrounds, experiment with soft atmospheric effects and learn how to mimic the sparkle of frost for all your snowy scenes. Also, some fun creating unique Christmas cards, gift tags and wrapping papers for you to continue making at home. A warm welcome awaits...
What's included in the price?
This is a 2 x week course. Each lesson is for a 2-hour classroom-based at Wanstead House Community Centre with artist Brenda Coyle. ALL SPECIALIST MATERIALS INCLUDED IN FEE... Bring your own basic watercolour painting kit - (paints/watercolour paper/brush) ALL extra specialised materials are included in your fee. Maker
As a freelance artist and qualified arts teacher (for over 25 years) I still work within the learning departments of many London based Museums and Galleries, schools, and charities, from the V&A to the Museum of London, AgeUK to Thomas Pocklington Trust supporting blind and partially sighted students. I develop, design and create various art based classes, workshops and courses. In the last 8 years I have also been running my own private Watercolour Courses - and One Day Art Workshops - these run at Wanstead House E11. Relaxation through Art is a personal practise that I have been developing and teaching for over 12 years, with an aim to exploring different ways to manage stress with a variety of simple yet stimulating art exercises which you can learn and practise in your everyday life.
