Watercolour, collage and mixed media course. THIS IS A TWO WEEK MINI COURSE. Tuesday mornings: 10.00am to 12.00pm. Tuesday 18th March 2025 & Tuesday 25th March 2025. Relax and create wonderful original art using a combination of paint, collage and mixed media techniques. A perfect mini course for absolute beginners, or anyone wishing to explore and incorporate new collage and mixed media approaches into their existing artwork. We will be experimenting with a host of new collaging skills, and you will be expertly guided throughout the course on how to use variety of textures, shapes, colours, adhesives and mediums. All materials are included. (Though I am sure you will be bring lots of your own papers and images once you start...) Just come along relax and enjoy...a morning of creativity.

As a freelance artist and qualified arts teacher (for over 25 years) I still work within the learning departments of many London based Museums and Galleries, schools, and charities, from the V&A to the Museum of London, AgeUK to Thomas Pocklington Trust supporting blind and partially sighted students. I develop, design and create various art based classes, workshops and courses. In the last 8 years I have also been running my own private Watercolour Courses - and One Day Art Workshops - these run at Wanstead House E11. Relaxation through Art is a personal practise that I have been developing and teaching for over 12 years, with an aim to exploring different ways to manage stress with a variety of simple yet stimulating art exercises which you can learn and practise in your everyday life. We are a 2 minute walk away from Wanstead underground station (Central Line)
There are also many bus links to Wanstead Station and Wanstead High Street.
There are limited free parking spaces for all Wanstead House members.
(Membership is £5 per year - £3 concessions)
Parking is not guaranteed - there are many pay and display parking spaces in Wanstead.
