The course will include: ~ Warping the loom (It's easier than it sounds, promise!) ~ Choosing & preparing your weft (Get ready to play Picasso!) ~ Tabby Weave (The foundation of it all) ~ Creating shapes (Let’s get funky with it) ~ Rya knots (Think tassels on steroids) ~ Looped weaving (For that extra texture) ~ Soumak (Fancy word, fancy technique) ~ Wrapping warps (Almost like gift-wrapping, but cooler) ~ Weaving in warp & weft ends (Tidy up those loose ends) ~ Adding a dowel to hang (Show off your masterpiece!)

Founded and operated by Textile Design graduates from Chelsea College of Arts (UAL), Central Saint Martins (UAL) and The Royal College of Art (RCA) - our studio serves as a creative nexus for adults and children alike where exploration, experimentation thrives and innovative designs come to life. At Fulham Textile Studio, we offer a wide range of workshops and events tailored to everyone - from seasoned professionals to curious beginners., Fulham Textile Studio also proudly doubles as a yarn and textile equipment store, and a textile machine hire service - granting access to the studio’s equipment for projects of a variety of scales and ambition. Our studio space can also be hired out for private functions. We’d be thrilled to have you on-board this exciting journey with us!
