Description
Relax, unwind and be one with nature with this absolute treat of a full 4.5-hour workshop experience. This is a holistically creative and indulgent workshop set in the heart of a heritage textile mill. You will be introduced to mindfulness practices through the art of clay play. Learn how to capture the fine beauty of nature in detail whilst learning in-depth about materials as well as clay techniques such as slab building and mould making. You will also gain experience in composition and safe practice with plaster whilst casting your own plaque (approx. 6" x 6"). Whilst the casts are curing you will get to indulge in freshly baked cakes and hot/cold drinks. Once the casts are ready, you will learn best practices for cleaning and finishing your casts. Due to the materials used this workshop can be quite messy so old clothes are advised, and aprons will be provided. Due to the nature of this workshop, the finished result will be ever-changing with the seasons.
