This full-day group workshop with our guest textile artist, Debs Munford, is suitable for all skill levels. Create a beautiful approx. A3-sized decorative panel using the art of cyanotype. You will have a creative time experimenting with this fantastic technique and be guided through the technical bits, showing you some tricks to create fantastic effects, both on paper and a range of fabrics. The fabrics are then selected and pieced together using simple hand stitching. Please bring along an apron and a pair of rubber gloves. This TEXTILE ART - CYANOTYPE WORKSHOP will be held in the peaceful setting of our Blended Monkey studios on the Cambridgeshire/Norfolk border. Numbers are limited to ensure you get plenty of 1-2-1 tuition. This textile art workshop is suitable for 16+. About a week before your workshop date, we'll e-mail you again with more details about parking etc. Refreshments will be provided throughout the day and also a lovely lunch - tailored to meet all dietary requirements. All students will be provided with a certificate of completion. What's included in the price?

Refreshments will be provided throughout the day and a light, rustic farmhouse-style lunch is also included; tailored to meet all dietary requirements. Depending on the weather/time of year, lunch can be taken either out in the cottage garden or in our country kitchen which has a view over the garden. The 1-day workshop includes: - All tools, materials and personal eye protection equipment. - Refreshments (tea/coffee/soft drinks) and a light, rustic farmhouse-style lunch - catering to all dietary requirements. - As we limit the number of people to 6, you get to have some 1-2-1 tuition and the maximum benefit from a day with no distractions. - All work can be taken home. - Certificate of completion. - Please wear sturdy footwear and clothes that you don't mind getting stone dust on.

Blended Monkey is a husband and wife team. Our studios are based in a small village on the Norfolk/Cambridgeshire border. Our setting provides ample inspiration for our work, and is perfect for our woodturning & pottery courses. Louise (ceramicist) - I studied at the Falmouth School of Art & Design and I am interested in various art forms, design and applied arts. Simon (woodturner) - I love working with wood & exploring its versatility. I'm a member of the AWGB and APTGW.
