Description
This workshop is suitable for beginners with no previous jewellery making experience. The workshop allows participants to learn basic techniques and skills to create their own personalised metal stamped jewellery. During this workshop you'll learn basic metal stamping techniques such as stamping straight, freehand, using guides and how to use letter and design stamps. You'll then be able to start creating your own bangles, rings, pendants and more in aluminium. You can expect to make up to 5 items, with a maximum of x3 large items (bangle/bookmark/keyring). On the day a small selection of sterling silver shapes will be provided if you wish to upgrade, these start from £5 each. During this workshop refreshments will be provided. Places are limited to twelve people on this workshop to allow individuals sufficient time with Lindsay to assist with each project.
What's included in the price?
Use of required equipment/tools. All materials to make; up to x3 larger pieces of jewellery (bangles/keyrings/bookmarks) and up to x2 smaller pieces of jewellery (rings, pendants, dog tags). On hand experienced tutor to instruct and guide you through the course. Tea/coffee & biscuits/cakes.

Lindsay Forbes has worked in the jewellery industry since graduating in 3D Design in 2010. Working in a variety of areas from retail to repair, she has a great amount of knowledge in jewellery design and technical skills in goldsmithing. Following her passion for designing and making jewellery she founded her own business; Laconic. Passing on knowledge and skills is something that Lindsay enjoys doing and creating a fun, friendly environment where people can come to relax, be creative and learn and so 'Bench Box' was created!
