Description

Metal Clay Workshop Come and join us for a fun filled, creative design experience where you will make your own bespoke jewellery piece, under the step-by-step guidance of your tutor Louis Howard. This workshop is aimed at the novice so no experience is needed just a willingness to learn. It is suitable for individuals or groups. You will learn the craft of texturising and forming the clay to create your own individual piece of solid silver jewellery (pendant or earrings). This is a perfect introduction to working with metal clay; Silver metal clay is a manufactured material made using recycled refined silver particles, an organic plant-based binder to bind the particles together and some water. This material can be moulded, shaped and textured. It is then dried; we will be utilising heat using a small hand-held blow torch. What you need to bring: Reading glasses (if required) Something to tie long hair back Health & safety No loose sleeved tops No open toed footwear

Sew Me Something is a place where people who have always wondered about sewing & creating things... people who were put off sewing at school but still have an old machine tucked away somewhere... people who love sewing but are stuck for ideas or inspiration... They can get together; chat, share ideas & learn new skills over a cup of tea & a piece of homemade cake. We have our own range of Sewing Patterns, Workshops, Courses & Retreats.
