Silver Clay Jewellery - Beginner - Learn at Home in Your Own Time
Description
This fantastic kit is the perfect way to experience the joy of learning to make beautiful silver jewellery in the comfort of your own home at completely your own pace. Detailed clear demo videos show you the processes step by step so you can pause, skip or re-watch to your hearts content. The kit provided ensures you not only have everything you need to complete the tutorials but also so that you can carry on creating amazing silver pieces afterwards with the tools. Explore different techniques including rolling and cutting the clay, as well as making and using moulds. I can be available via email and WhatsApp to answer questions if needed (by arrangement). You will learn how to prepare the clay, fire and polish. With a wide range of jewellery options there's something for everyone. This lovely process allows you to be creative in an accessible way, so anyone can do it! Use treasures from your life as inspiration (or even to make your moulds) or just allow the process to guide you. This series of exercises is the equivalent of a full day course including making time and will enable you to feel confident enough in the process to keep making silver clay afterwards. You will make 4-6 pieces of silver clay in a variety of techniques. Please allow 7 - 10 days for delivery of your kit.

Maker
Where it all began … I first learnt to crochet as a child and spent hours and hours making, sewing, knitting and learning every new technique possible in art, craft and design. After a degree in Graphics and with 16 years experience teaching Textiles, Graphics, Art & Design and Design & Technology I strongly believe in developing my own practice to be the best tutor I can be. I am continually inspired by my students of all ages so it's definitely a 2 way street!

No need to bring anything with you for your course or workshop unless you want to bring examples or inspiration ... but there are plenty of both here in the studio (surrounded by the beautiful Shropshire Hills) so you can just bring your lovely self!
There is a cute retro caravan that sleeps 1-2 people available onsite (The Old School Campsite) free of charge for 'one to one' bookings (subject to availability).
