From leggings , dresses , undies and sportswear - stretch fabrics offer comfort and durability . Find out how to get professional sewing results in the masterclass LEARN: - what stitch settings to use for elasticated fabrics /trims - what type of stretch fabrics are available & what they are used for - what type of stretch trims are available & what they are used for - how to calculate stretch trims & how to attach to fabric in various ways - how to use twin needles This 5 hour session goes into detail how to sew with stretch materials and allows student to bring their own stretch sewing projects along and get individual sewing advice for their projects. (We recommend to get in touch before you booking to discuss what you like to make during this session) Students will explore various sewing techniques that are used professionally when sewing with stretch materials and that can be used on a domestic sewing machine from home afterwards. There will be hand outs and each student will create sewing samples to take home and use as reference for future sewing ideas in their own time. This session is ideal if you do have previous sewing experience and like to learn how to sew with stretch materials OR if you do have advanced sewing skills and need help with a particular strech sewing project.
