Your qualified tutor, Elena, has over 15 years of teaching expertise and will guide you on every step of the way. Using 100% recycled silver and authentic seaglass collected from local Devon and Cornish beaches, this jewellery puts sustainability at the heart of this craft experience. The workshop takes place in my home studio overlooking a quiet and peaceful garden in the lovely town of Totnes.
What's included in the price?
I will provide everything you need to make your own silver and seaglass jewellery from start to finish. From tuition, tools and materials to tea and biscuits! Silver-smithing skills covered include: sawing, filing, soldering, finishing, annealing and bezel setting. Materials include one piece of authentic Devon or Cornish seaglass from my collection, 100% recycled sterling silver and one silver chain to hang your finished pendant.

Free parking is available on the residential road outside the studio.
Lunch; glasses if you need them for close work; closed-toe shoes are safest; notebook and pencil if you like to make notes.
The day starts at 10am and will be finished by 4pm with a half hour lunch break.
There are 4 steps up to the studio and sadly I cannot accomodate a wheelchair. If you need further details or assistance, please get in touch.
There will be a half hour lunch break, but no food will be provided. Please bring your own lunch with you to the studio. There are plenty of bakeries, pasty shops and take-away cafes in town if you need to stock up before arriving.
I will provide plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits!
Yes! I have plenty of participants who arrive into Totnes by train (direct trains run from London, Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Edinburgh and beyond!)
The studio is approximately 1 mile from the station so most people either take a taxi or walk.
The national express also stops in Totnes at the main bus stop approximately 0.5 miles from the studio.
I have a strict cancellation policy, but if you are unable to attend then please let me know. If I can fill your space then I will issue you a full refund.
