Description

- 11th Jan *FULLY BOOKED* - 1st Mar *6 places available* - 29th Mar *6 places available* *Small class size of 6* In this workshop you will be taught the basics of working with silver clay with demonstrations and tips for successful jewellery making. You will be taught how to roll, texture, fire, and finish a minimum of one .999 fine silver pendant OR fine silver adjustable ring, which will be ready to take home at the end of the workshop (potentially more depending on the size and shape chosen). Please note: if you have a design project in mind, please let us know through the "message the tutor" button, to ensure that you book onto a workshop that gives you enough time to complete the piece/pieces due to the nature of the processes used. I am a fully qualified teacher, with over 25 years experience, hold a Higher Level qualification in Silver Clay and have been teaching silver clay workshops for 12 years. My work is inspired by natural forms; mainly flowers, foliage, and the seaside. Please feel free to bring along any small objects like stamps, textured surfaces, natural forms, etc, from home, which you might like to use. A collection will also be provided for you to pick from. Participants should be over 16 due to the equipment used in this process. However, I am happy to accept participants aged 11+, as long as they are accompanied by a paying parent/guardian, but please contact me via the 'message the tutor' button before booking.
