Description
Join us for two days while we walk you through warping and weaving with your rigid heddle loom. On day one we will warp your loom with gorgeous hand dyed yarns ready for you to weave and then you will have a choice of yarns to sample and experiment with while you weave your length of fabric. You’ll learn: How to directly warp your loom How to decide the length of your project Which heddle suits which yarn How to hemstich your work for that neater finish Different techniques to add texture and interest to your work This longer, two day event will allow us to relax with our weaving and weave the length of fabric you would like. You are welcome to bring along your own loom or use one of ours.
What's included in the price?
You are welcome to bring along any fabric, ribbons, sari silk….anything really that would inspire you, but there will be plenty of hand dyed yarns to use on the course if you don’t.

Yes there is parking right outside for a charge of around £5 per day. There might be spaces for free on the road if you're lucky
Yes, I'm very happy for you to use a loom or wheel of mine for the day. If you want a particular size of loom to work with, let me know and I can arrange that for you
Yes you're welcome to bring your own loom and other warping equipment, I'd suggest you mark yours to prevent any confusion with others equipment
You'll need two clamps, a warping peg, threading hook.
