Pyrography (wood burning ) Course with Kez Halliday
Description
Learn the art of pyrography with our very own course tutor Kez Halliday. Kez is a self taught artist who specializes in realistic shaded pyrography pieces. This is a one day course where you will learn basic safety, how to setup and use the machines, surfaces preparation, how to change tips and maintenance of tips. The course also covers essential techniques such as texturing, shading, tonal values, colouring and finishing. You will also learn the different types of wood to use, and how to transfer your designs. A selection of designs will be provided or alternatively you can bring your own if you have something in mind. No experience is necessary, this course is for everyone, whether your a complete beginner looking to try something new, or have some experience and want to hone in your skills. We offer 3 places per course date, should you require more places for a group booking.
