Figure Sculpture using Powertex and Fabric Sculpting Anyone with a reasonable degree of dexterity, can create this. no experience necessary. Come let me lead you through the process of creating an armature and then clothing it with recycled fabrics to create a beautiful Angel, Fairy or African Figure or anything else that takes your fancy You may choose from many different plaster faces and there will be plenty of fabric options to create something truly unique, no two figures ever look the same If more than one person is attending and the choices are different for each person this will result in a longer workshop as each sculpture differs in structural design so needs extra explanation. If this is the case then there will be extra fees to be paid on the day if the course runs over the usual time frame.

Inky Escapades is run by Karen Hewitt, Artist, & Certified Powertex tutor in Fabric Sculpting, Stone Art Clay, Mixed Media and 3D Flex. My Powertex workshops will give you a window into your own personal creativity. I will offer you the tools and instruction to create fabulous works of art; beware though as Powertex is a very addictive hobby and you may find yourself consumed by its magic. Most materials used are recycled. I offer small workshops for up to 4 people or 1 to 1 by arrangement.
