Description
This 1 day experience will teach you how to prepare your clay, centre it on the wheel and throw simple cups and bowls. We will leave all the pots to firm while you enjoy your packed lunch or nip out to one of the lovely cafes and restaurants. After that we will move into learning how to trim and finish your pots, ready for adding extra creative touches such as carving and adding handles. This experience includes everything you need to make and finish your creations ready for firing. Starts at 10.30am and finishes at 4.30pm. Your finished pottery will be ready for collection within 4 weeks.

Both train and bus station are a short walk from the Art Space
There is a car park called station road car park. It is located opposite the entrance of Tesco and it is free (despite it says it is only free after 18:00 and all day Sunday). Alternatively, there are some free spaces by the train station and in some nearby neighbourhoods.
