Description
Sculpting a portrait in clay is a challenge for this workshop. Your model would be a person seating opposite to you, and you will model to him. We will have to take turns in modelling for each other. Sculpting is another way of observing the life and training your eye and hand coordination. There will be an armature on which we will apply the clay into a simple head shape which will become a base for adding more to represent our model. All steps will be performed in stages. The workshop is intended for all levels of experience. We will sculpt it in clay, which will be hollowed later and fired.
What's included in the price?
All materials included. The final product will be ready for collection once it has been fired in the kiln. Bring your own lunch or pay one of the amazing local venues a visit during lunch break.

Both train and bus station are a short walk from the Art Space
There is a car park called station road car park. It is located opposite the entrance of Tesco and it is free (despite it says it is only free after 18:00 and all day Sunday). Alternatively, there are some free spaces by the train station and in some nearby neighbourhoods.
