Mosaic garden wall panel with the Imaginary Mosaic Cafe
Description
This course is provided on a USB stick. Learn how to make a panel (‘Minty Green Peppers’ or your own design) for a garden wall or a floor with the 'mesh method'. The mesh method is exactly what it says - you make the mosaic onto mesh so you can make it sitting at your craft table in the comfort of your own home and then install it into a position of your choice. This could be onto a wall or floor indoors or outdoors. In the course I demonstrate and explain the whole process in the videos (some bits are speeded up to shorten the length of them) from discussing substrates (backer boards) to installing the pepper onto an exterior backer board and grouting and finishing.

Maker
I’m a mosaic and mixed media artist from Devon. I have a degree in Creative Arts (1989) but self taught in mosaics and have been making them for 29 years. My first one was a 2 metre square mosaic on an outdoor school wall made with pupils from the school. Since then I’ve worked with groups of adults and children making mosaics alongside my own practice. I have work in private and public collections, and exhibit my work internationally.
