Make your own contemporary headpiece using recycled bottles
Description
Have you ever wondered if you could create a wearable work of art using plastic water bottles? Plastic bottles are the basic commodity used to create the individual feature flowers in this contemporary headpiece. Once constructed the flowers are grouped together creating the L'Eau Naturelle modern fascinator-style headpiece. On this course you will learn to make your own fabulous headpiece decorated with the flowers you have created from discarded plastic bottles, creating a fabulous and unique headpiece.
What's included in the price?
This is a hands-on workshop in which I will show you the techniques needed to re-purpose empty water bottles, guiding you to create a wearable piece of modern headwear. The course will include all the materials and equipment required, except for the empty plastic bottles required for your headpiece. Please bring along 12 empty plastic bottles, per person, to the workshop - 500ml size - remembering to rinse the bottles out thoroughly, please, before the class if they haven't previously contained natural water. The course will run from 10-4 with a break for lunch - not included. There is also an alternative shorter workshop listing where you can create a single-flower brooch using the same techniques. This in-person course is held in either NE67 or NE1,
