Make & Upholster A Footstool - no experience necessary

Make and upholster a stunning 40 x 40cm footstool from scratch in a day, for yourself, or as the perfect gift for someone this Christmas. This one day workshop is the ideal introduction to upholstery - no prior experience is necessary as full step-by-step tuition is given, in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, in a beautiful Country House setting. From using power tools to attach the wooden bun feet, through folding your fabric and covering the staples neatly with a lining fabric, you will be gently guided as you navigate your way through this wonderful craft. Group sizes are kept small to ensure plenty of one-to-one attention, so you can work at your own pace. You will be provided with your own set of workshop notes to enable you to continue upholstery at home. Just bring 1m x 1m of your own lovely fabric This relaxed and friendly workshop takes place in the stunning setting of our English Country House in the Exmoor National Park. Travelling far? What's included in the price?

All materials and most tools are provided EXCEPT... - please bring a staple gun, or this can be provided at extra cost if notified at time of booking. - 1m x 1m fabric of your choice. A light lunch, tea and coffee is included.
