Introduction to Bookbinding using Recycled Papers - for Beginners
Description
Bookbinding doesn't have to be complicated! Looking at junk mail and scrap paper in a different way, we transform waste paper into unique, usable and beautiful books which make perfect handmade gifts. In this fun workshop we will be making three different types of books, starting with a simple ribbon-tied pad, moving on to a single-signature book and then using our new found skills to make a coptic stitched journal. You will go home with the skills and confidence to continue your bookbinding journey, and need never buy a notebook again! Suitable for all levels with no prior experience required.
