There are also bonus videos that share different fastening methods and how to add a page divider. You will need to provide tools and materials which are easy to source - Cass provides a detailed kit list as part of the course with goes through everything you need and links to recommended suppliers. You may find you already have most of the tools (awl, scissors, needle, craft knife/rotary cutter) and materials you need (paper, embroidery thread, leather/pleather). Hi I’m Cass – I love to make books and am passionate about making the craft of bookbinding fun and accessible! I'm particularly inspired by working with remnant materials - transforming what might otherwise end up in landfill, into unique and usable books. I run a lively programme of upcycled bookbinding and mark making workshops both in person and online, and love to collaborate with venues, artists from other disciplines and community organisations.
