Large Hare Sculpture Workshop - Clay Sculpture - Blended Monkey

X

Description

This full-day group workshop with our guest figurative sculptor, Christine Pike, is suitable for all skill levels. Create a beautiful sculpture that you can display proudly in your home or garden. You will learn how to use various hand-building techniques to make your own stylish and contemporary standing hare sculpture (approx. 30 cm tall). When your hare is finished, personalise your design using a range of decorative stamps and natural materials. You can even incorporate special names and dates, if you wish. You will be offered a choice of glazes to enhance the beauty of your piece and give a professional finish. The glazing and firing will be carried out by Louise (ceramicist from Blended Monkey) and we will let you know when your sculpture is ready for you to collect (please allow at least 14 days). Your piece can be posted out by arrangement. The hares will be made from stoneware clay - so you can display them indoors or outdoors. This LARGE HARE SCULPTURE WORKSHOP will be held in the peaceful setting of our Blended Monkey studios on the Cambs/Norfolk border. Numbers are limited to ensure you get plenty of 1-2-1 tuition. This sculpture workshop is suitable for 14+ with under 16s accompanied by an adult. About a week before your workshop date, we'll e-mail you again with more details about parking, etc. All students will be provided with a certificate of completion. The full-day workshop includes: - Materials and use of equipment on the day. - Refreshments (tea/coffee/soft drinks/cake) and lunch - catering to all dietary requirements. - As we limit the number of people, you get to have some 1-2-1 tuition and the maximum benefit from a day with no distractions. - Glazing & firing of your work. - Certificate of completion. - Please wear clothing clothes that you don't mind getting some clay on.
