Jewellery Making: Keum Boo (using Gold) Pendant or Earrings
Description
Make a beautiful silhouette piece of jewellery In this full day class, you will be introduced to jewellery making using silver. Local Jewellery Artist, Helen Smith, will guide you through the designing and making process. You will learn how to pierce a design from 25 x 25 x 0.8mm silver sheet, then cut out the external shape. You will then finish, polish and texture as desired to create your own unique pendant or pair of earrings. A 16” sterling silver chain or ear findings are included. It is possible to have your pieces hallmarked (at an additional cost ) This will take about 2-3 weeks. Please ask at the end of your session. In addition, you have the option to order a delicious, buffet-style lunch provided by the Barn Cafe. Just let us know when you are booking and advise us of any dietary requirements. Otherwise, you will need to bring a packed lunch. Suitability: Adult & 16+ Beginners & Advanced (Please contact us to discuss if a younger person would like to take part) Duration: 7 hours including a break for lunch

Materials and tools will be supplied Please Note: You will need to wear close-toed shoes and tie long hair back. A small blow torch is used for the silver soldering process. PPE will be provided. Book early to avoid disappointment
