Short Intro to Block Printing: Inspire Block Printing is an enterprise based in Chester. It is run by Amy Bonsall (the Block Printing Professor) and Sarah Guest, who consults and supports it. Why Block Printing? It is intensively creative, and you don’t need any drawing/painting skills. It is suitable for all ages and abilities. It is green! You can give new life to old clothes, you can even print paper and add it to furniture! The introduction to Block Printing session will teach you the basics of Block Printing. You will have access to a wide variety of traditional and modern style blocks and paint colours. You will have lots of practice time before you create your own master piece on your own tote bag or draw string bag. Additional items to print can be purchased on the day for an additional charge. Info: Amy is a highly experienced creative and academic with 25 years of teaching experience. Having worked around the world with people from many different backgrounds, you can be sure to have a perfectly paced and expertly managed craft session
