Description

Gone to Seed - feltmaking fun! gives beginners all the basic information to learn felting around a resist. In the three and a half hours, students will make a seedpod with a seed, tendrils and leaves, using different techniques. Workshops start at 10am. I can teach up to nine people here and I can also travel within 20 miles if someone wants a group of friends (minimum 5 participants) in their own house or school. Fabulous idea for a hen party! Please note, though, I do charge mileage. If you have a larger group (say WI or class parents) I am happy to run workshops for up to 20 people in your own venue. My workshops are not timetabled, so there is a great deal of flexibility on dates - just get in touch and we'll sort out a day to suit us both. I don't work on Sundays! I cannot teach children without a responsible adult accompanying them and both must be booked on the course. Please also check out my other listings for available craft kits (See more from this course organiser' link below). My workshops in a wallet, include Fun with Felt Flowers at Home, Loving Lavender, Creepies and Crawlies and Gone to Seed at Home, covering much of what you would learn with me here in West Horsley. And while I won't be able to answer queries as they arise, I will be happy to answer emailed questions if you have any as you progress through the workshop instructions or you can telephone me between 9.30am and 4pm.

I have been making, selling and teaching wet feltmaking and basket making for about twelve years. I just love meeting students and seeing their delight in their results - and yes, everyone does get a good result!
