Description
In this one-day jewellery workshop, you’ll learn how to measure your finger and calculate the amount of metal you need to make a gemstone ring that fits perfectly. You’ll be experimenting with hammers to create your desired texture before learning how to solder, shape, sand and polish your handmade ring. We’ll practice in brass before moving on to silver. You will get to choose from a selection of gemstones to create your own bezel-set gemstone ring! This is a one-day workshop and we will take a break midway through to have lunch. Bring a sandwich or snacks to refuel! All students must wear appropriate clothing, including closed-toe shoes. No loose/flowing sleeves and long hair must be tied back.
