Description
Fused glass lantern workshop Come and release your inner crafting spirit in a warm and relaxing atmosphere. You will design and make the panels for a glass lantern during this workshop – suitable for beginners and intermediate. You will make 4 panels of the same size and a further 5th panel which will be slightly smaller and fit the door of the lantern. Please note that the examples of lanterns shown are in the old design, and you will be making a lantern in the new design. All you need to bring with is some ideas of what you’d like to make – however we will have some examples for you to draw inspiration from! Closed in shoes are a must. Please avoid wearing any knitted garments and the glass pieces may get caught in this. Hot drinks and biscuits are provided free of charge.

About Hope - Having originally trained as a fashion designer and dabbling in various creative media, I finally found my passion lay in glass. As a self taught glass artist, I love the endless possibilities of that the glass offers and the many different outcomes I can achieve with different techniques. I am always trying out new methods and looking for fresh designs that will catch my shopper's attention. I am now offering workshops so that others can enjoy working and creating with glass.
