Join me for an informal painting session with a difference - if you're looking for a quick, instant arty hit that everyone can enjoy, then look no further! Spend time with friends or family and be amazed as you compose patterns & landscapes with the sweep of a loaded iron across specialist card using beautifully vivid wax paints. Get lost in the mindful process of encaustic painting and see where your imagination takes you. Have a go using newspaper and tissue paper to add a collage element to your designs, or use a scribe to add detail, attempt a flower or a portrait. Seriously suitable for all - husbands and wives, Nanas with grand children, multi generational family groups, groups of friends. What's included in the price?
Learn to paint on specialist card using an encaustic iron, a heated stylus & wax paint blocks. All tools & materials are included. Everything you create is yours to keep. Should you wish to add a frame or 5 card mounts I can provide these for £10 extra (paid on the day). Drinks & homemade cake are provided. (Require accommodation? Just get in touch & I can put you in touch with local Yurts and Airbnb properties - it's a lovely part of the world!)

Studied at the amazing Malvern School of Art completing the life-changing (for me) Access to Art Level 3 course. While looking for a final project idea for my concept I discovered Encaustic Painting, and was enthralled by the process and its history.
