Description
This full day embroidery workshop uses the best-selling kit, Clover Meadow, from Beaks & Bobbins, designed by illustrator and textile artist Amy Butcher. Tutor Stephanie Palmer uses this to teach you a range of essential stitches, beading techniques and embellishments. Amy’s illustrations are preprinted onto the fabric base but with your new skills, you will make it your own. Skill level: this mixed media master class is for beginners and those who want to extend their embroidery repertoire.

All materials for this workshop are included. Light refreshments are available throughout the day and during the lunch break, Ilkley has a number of delicious cafés and sandwich bars. Each participant also receives a 10% after class discount voucher to put towards their next workshop.

We specialise in haberdashery and needlecrafting materials and workshops, with an international reputation for stocking over 10,000+ different button designs. Our classes are held in a beautiful beamed room at the top of our medieval building in York and in the Yorkshire town of Ilkley in a converted Victorian double-fronted shop. They are taught by practicing designers and makers with considerable expertise in (and passion for) their respective crafts, and considerable teaching experience.
