Creative Yarn Spinning - Intermediate A full day (5 hours) learning fun creative yarn spinning, in a peaceful weaving workshop on a small holding in the beautiful Welsh hills. Play with colour and texture, preparing wools, silks, and other fibers into beautiful blends, then creating your own designer yarns, working on an art yarn spinning wheel. The wools, and other fibers are provided for you, and there is a spinning wheel and spindles for you to work on during your workshop. If you would like to, you are welcome to meet the sheep during your visit. We have a flock of Shetland sheep who live with us on the smallholding. Lunch break is between 12.30pm - 1.30pm Please bring along a packed lunch.

Hi, I'm Lea! I live in the hills in Mid Wales, here at our creative retreat centre, with a holiday cottage, cabin, pod and gypsy caravan for guests to stay in. I teach creative yarn spinning, beginners spinning, drop spindle, wet felting, creative crochet & knitting, recycled textiles, & wild weaving. I teach personal classes and group retreats.
