Come and make these beautiful copper mushrooms with me! These recycled copper mushrooms are great to use in houseplants to help break up the soil and improve water retention as well as providing a small amount of nutrients to your plant. They look pretty awesome left with the plants too! They may look simple and easy to make but, believe me, there are a lot of processes involved in making these particular mushrooms, so you have the opportunity to experience and discover a wider range of copper smithing skills. You, the maker, will design your very own unique set of mushrooms; small medium and large, and explore different textures and finishes for each of them. You will be cutting, hammering, filing, cleaning, annealing, texturing, stamping, punching, forming, soldering and polishing and more! You can give them the "wow" factor by creating rainbow effects, darken for a more antique look or leave them simple to gain their own patina over time. I will guide you with step by step instructions and hands-on demonstrations (there are over 25 steps to create each mushroom!) so you'll have lots of support along the way. This is suitable for very small groups due to the limited workspace, perfect for couples, family and friends. NB - for safety, please wear close toed shoes and tie long hair back.
