Colourful Aluminium Jewellery at Cowshed Creative in the Lake District near Windermere
Description
At Cowshed Creative in the Lake District, we run an extensive range of jewellery, art, craft and heritage workshops in our beautifully converted art studio. JOIN US for a splash of colour in this exciting and playful process. No experience needed, just enjoy experimenting with felt pens, stamps, paint brushes, inks and dyes to transform aluminium with beautiful colours, designs and patterns. In the afternoon you will learn how to create jewellery from some of your patterned metal and take home earrings, bangles and pendants (depending on the speed you work). George Grange trained as a sculptor at Exeter College of Art and completed a PGCE at Goldsmiths. George has been making silver jewellery for the past severn years and completed the Art Clay Diplomas in Silver Clay Jewellery with Tracey Spurgin. George discovered anodised Aluminium 5 years ago, having attended a series of workshops and has enjoyed playing with the process ever since. She is passionate about sharing her expertise and enabling students to develop their creative skills in a relaxed and supportive environment. George has extensive teaching experience. This workshop will be at Cowshed Creative, based in a converted Lakeland barn on our traditional family Farm. The art studio is a stunning open plan space with plenty of room to wander outside and take inspiration from the amazing Lakeland landscape and environment of the peaceful Kentmere valley. From the fantastic and consistent feedback we have received, you are sure to have a great day! All our tutors are carefully selected artists and craft professionals with extensive teaching experience.
