Hello, I'm Sharon, an experienced Sculpture & clay artist, I regularly host fun and informal pottery sessions from my studio in the beautiful village in Heskin, Lancashire. The Wild thing class runs every day except Sunday & Mondays. It can be attended by up to 6 persons & Is suitable for beginners. Those aged 14 years + can attend with a participating adult. In this step by step class we form a pot using coils of clay. You are shown how to prepare, mould and attach the clay to form your pot. We then demonstrate how to make the various elements to make your own animal or monster. The class includes bisque firing ready painting with acrylics at home OR you may wish to return to the studio to glaze your creation. This is an optional extra, £15pp. The Crafty Potter studio is based within Heskin shopping Village, a unique retail and leisure destination featuring over 40 unique shops and businesses.
