Description
A set of five Christmas Gnome felt decorations as a complete sewing kit with full instructions. Designed as hanging Christmas ornaments, these delightful little gnomes are easy to make and can be kept for many years to come. With cute beards or pigtails, each gnome carries a festive gift, Christmas tree or Carol book and the kit includes enough British wool felt, threads and trims to make the full set as shown or you can use up your felt and fabric scraps to make your own unique set. To make these, you only need to know basic sewing stitches: Blanket stitch, Split stitch and Stab stitch (overstitch). A full size, pre-printed pattern is included. This is printed on cardstock to facilitate the ease of cutting and drawing around small components. Each completed gnome measures approx 9.5 x 5cm This felt sewing kit makes a lovely slow stitching gift for a family member or friend. Maureen is a master hand embroiderer with over 25 years experience. Skills handed down from Irish ancestors have been honed with training from world class embroidery schools. Small courses and workshops are often held in her native Cumbria and the hand embroidery courses can be studied via distance learning or online.
