Welcome to my bronzed figurative/animal/pet sculpting workshops.  Made in Giacometti style (long tall and skinny). My students love to recreate their pets or children in this Giacometti style. This course is a one day workshop set at an artist run studio/gallery and workshops. Black Barn studio is set in the charming town of Framingham with its famous Medieval Castle and stunning scenery. Framlingham is a wonderful place to stay and visit as there is so much to do and see. You will walk away with a fully finished sculpture that you have created from scratch with my simple and clear tuition. You can make a replica of a Giacometti sculpture, or just be inspired and make your pet. You will go home at the end of the day with a beautiful unique piece of art. This course is a wonderful way to relax and forget the worries of the world. Art is fantastic for ones mental health. You will unwind and time will fly. Maximum 6 people per workshop. You do not need to have any particular skills as this workshop is tailored for both the novice and more experienced. No experience is needed, just a good imagination & plenty of enthusiasm. I will demonstrate and guide you through every step. ​ My other courses are run on demand and are at my studio at Mellis Suffolk, where I can teach art and sculpture on a one to one or small groups of max 4 people. What's included in the price?

All materials & tools provided. I ensure each student has their own equipment. I like to create a spacious and calm environment.  We start with making a wire armature, then go on to plaster and a bronzed resin. Later in the day we will make an armature together so you can understand the technique. Your piece will be totally unique and finished to take home by the end of the day.     Plenty of tea, coffee, water and biscuits available throughout the day. Lunch is 20 to 30 minutes, please bring your own packed lunch. I am a professional artist and sculptor. I work in both 2d and 3d mediums. I recently was asked to do some workshops for a group of young students and I loved the experience of sharing my knowledge. I then went on to host a workshop as a hen day for friends of mine. This then led me here to continue the journey. Art is such an enjoyable subject. I regard myself to be so lucky to do what I do.
