Description
Our ‘Just For Fun’ forging experience is one to be ticked off your bucket list! You can enjoy three hours of blacksmithing with a fully trained member of our team. Morning or Afternoon sessions are available. We tailor the day to suit each of our guests – from absolute beginners through to those who have had previous experience. Children from the age of 7 years are welcome to the forge to try out life as a blacksmith. Experience a traditional craft and become a blacksmith for a day at Oldfield Forge. A specialist forge set in the heart of Herefordshire, our team is dedicated to teaching you time-honoured blacksmithing techniques. During your time with us, you will be guided by one of the Forge’s expert team members who will get you fully prepared for forging. Before you set about creating your own bespoke piece you will also be able to draw inspiration from a look around the amazing work on display in our showroom. At the end of your time with us, you will take away a beautifully crafted piece of ironmongery, created by your own hands.
What's included in the price?
During your time with us why not unwind even further in our wooded grounds and enjoy a homemade lunch prepared by our local family-run pub. These lunches are available at a further cost. Alternatively, you are more than welcome to bring your own picnic from home.
