Description
Come and join the amazing Kay Dudman (member of Guild of Master Craftsmen) to start your journey in the world of crochet. Crochet has been proven to have therapeutic and stress relieving benefits so why not master all the basics in this beginners/refreshers course (no previous experience necessary). You will learn how to get to grips with the hook and yarn, work the foundation chain, double crochet, simple pattern reading and basic finishing techniques. You’ll learn about different types of yarn and hooks before trying out the basic stitches of the foundation chain and double crochet. Full written instructions will be given out to each participant to take home and a size 4 crochet hook and wool to work with. There will be a follow up class you can book to learn the next steps which will be on Saturday 1st March.
