Description

Bead & Blether is a chance for you to get together with like-minded people and learn to create beautiful jewellery in a welcoming community setting at From Loft to Loved in Sedgefield, County Durham. The last Tuesday each month from 18:00 - 20:00, you'll be guided by Lindsay, a professional jeweller, to create a new seasonal project using a selection of beads and some wirework, the majority of projects resulting in jewellery or gifts. Lindsay will introduce you to new materials, techniques and offer support throughout the session. You'll be provided with all the materials needed to complete your project and access to tools and equipment to use within the session. ~ No commitment, book as little or as many sessions as you wish to attend. ~ Introducing a loyalty card scheme, get a stamp for each session you attend, with discounts offered (like the loyalty cards you get when you buy a coffee, but better!). ~ Also includes access to a private Facebook group where you can ask for advice and share your creations. ~ Access to books to browse through during the session to inspire you. ~ Option to purchase materials and tools (with 10% off toolkits) to continue making at home. Refreshments and biscuits will also be included. Places are limited to 12.

Lindsay Forbes has worked in the jewellery industry since graduating in 3D Design in 2010. Working in a variety of areas from retail to repair, she has a great amount of knowledge in jewellery design and technical skills in goldsmithing. Following her passion for designing and making jewellery she founded her own business; Laconic. Passing on knowledge and skills is something that Lindsay enjoys doing and creating a fun, friendly environment where people can come to relax, be creative and learn and so 'Bench Box' was created!
