Bead & Blether is a chance for you to get together with like-minded people and learn to create beautiful jewellery in a welcoming community setting at From Loft to Loved in Sedgefield, County Durham. This term starts on 5th November until 10th December. Every Tuesday from 18:00 - 20:00, you'll be guided by Lindsay, a professional jeweller, to create a new seasonal project using a selection of beads and some wirework, the majority of projects resulting in jewellery or gifts. Lindsay will introduce you to new materials, techniques and offer support throughout the session. You'll be provided with all the materials needed to complete your project and access to tools and equipment to use within the session. You do have the opportunity to purchase additional materials during the course time too, with 10% off. Card payments are accepted. Refreshments and biscuits will also be included. Important to note; Each club term lasts 6 weeks, taking breaks for holidays before the next term starts. You must be committed to the full 6 weeks, no refunds can be given for days missed. Lindsay Forbes has worked in the jewellery industry since graduating in 3D Design in 2010. Working in a variety of areas from retail to repair, she has a great amount of knowledge in jewellery design and technical skills in goldsmithing. Following her passion for designing and making jewellery she founded her own business; Laconic. Passing on knowledge and skills is something that Lindsay enjoys doing and creating a fun, friendly environment where people can come to relax, be creative and learn and so 'Bench Box' was created!
