I will be hosting a workshop called ‘Paint a Piece’ at my studio ‘Raw Furniture’ in Ribchester, Ribble Valley. This popular class is a fun hands on 4-5hr day, where I will help guide your creativity into hand painting your own piece of furniture in Annie Sloan Chalk Paint colours and style of your choosing. I have been upcycling and restoring furniture for many years and I have been professionally trained by Annie Sloan down at Oxford HQ to host workshops and teach all there is to know regarding rejuvenating and upcycling your own furniture pieces. The benefits to painting furniture is to reduce, reuse and recycle as-well as creating a unique, beautiful one off piece of furniture for your home. Whether you have been handed down a piece of furniture from your family or even purchased a piece from a charity shop, you are consciously making an effort in participating to a more environmental and sustainable world. By the end of the workshop, you will go away with your very own finished hand painted piece, to show off to your family and friends! Hi my name is Rebecca and my Raw Furniture studio is based in the village of Ribchester, in Lancashire's Ribble Valley. I am an artist and have been painting furniture for over 15yrs. I have been professionally trained by Annie Sloan down at Oxford HQ to teach how to paint with chalk paint by hosting ‘one to one’ and ‘group’ workshops. I paint for interior design companies in the Ribble Valley, and take on client commissions. I am proud to announce that I won the ‘Sole Trader’ Ribble Valley Business Awards 2023!! 🤩🥇🤩 My passion is to be happy and creative so why not join me on my fun painting workshops!

Please wear something suitable that you don’t mind getting paint on.
You don’t need to bring anything. I will provide all Annie Sloan paint, waxes and materials. I will also provide aprons.
