These upholstery Mondays are the perfect way to  learn a new skill or bring along an existing piece you are working on for a bit of  extra guidance and encouragement.  Experienced upholsterers and total beginners are therefore welcome.  The classes are held  once a month at Reach Village Hall, Cambridgeshire. a lovely restored  a lovely restored Victorian school.  It is bright and airy with plenty of parking outside. The days run from 10am - 3:00pm  Classes are informal and you will receive individual tuition on your chosen project.  A max of 8 students can attend. This workshop includes the use of tools and sundries such as tacks, threads etc.  You will have access to the tools and equipment required to use for both modern and traditional upholstery projects. Other materials apart from top fabric can be purchased on the day. You will need to bring your own top fabric suitable for your project - Lee can help you with choosing suitable fabric when booking your course. When booking your course, please include a photo of your planned project as Lee will be able to let you know what you can expect to achieve in a day.  Block booking is not required. You can book on a month by month basis.

Qualified though the AMUSF Lee offers leisure courses guiding willing students through processes from stripping the furniture to frame, light restoration rebuliding padding and finally recovering. Lee also offers classes in lampshade making and other soft furnishings.
