Wire Seed Heads (1 day) in the Peak District

Description

Using wire and simple tools, learn how to make wild flower stems inspired by grasses, cow parsley, poppies and more. On this workshop you can create your own bunch of delicate wire seed heads to display in a vase. Open to both beginners and those with experience. Tutor: Judith Brown Judith has been a designer maker for over twenty years. From her beautiful Staffordshire studio, she creates nature inspired jewellery and handmade organic flower forms in silver wire. • Purpose built studio in beautiful Peak District setting • Relaxed, creative atmosphere • 4 - 8 students per workshop • Open to both beginners and those with experience • Good fresh food, homemade cakes • Accommodation on site and nearby if required • Private groups welcome (minimum 4 people) Join us from 9.30am for tea/coffee and introductions. Tuition starts at 10.00am. There are breaks for lunch and a tea & cake mid-afternoon. The class finishes around 4.30pm. Half-day class also available. What's included in the price?

A tasty light lunch is included in the course fee. Tea, coffee and biscuits are available all day to help yourself and there will be home-made cake mid afternoon. Please let us know of any special dietary requirements. There is an additional charge for your materials, payable to the tutor at the end of the class.
