Maker

I am an experienced felt-maker. My scarves are more than pieces of clothing or accessories, they are works of art that will impress and fascinate others. I hand create my scarves using water, soap, fine wool, and pure silk. I embellish them with various types of silk fibres and wool yarns and, occasionally, sheep locks. The results are unique, complex and gorgeous scarves full of colour and perfect for brightening dark coloured outfits. Cobweb felting, as the name implies, is made with a very fine layer of woollen fibres lying in one direction which creates a very sheer scarf with small "holes" and “webs “which add to the beauty of the scarf. Nuno felting is a Japanese method of felting wool fibre to a silk backing and adding various other fibres or pieces of cloth to add texture and interest.
